Treasure of Anubis Slots

Treasure of Anubis doesn’t waste time setting the mood - it drops you straight into an Ancient Egypt treasure hunt where the Anubis scatter is the key to the biggest moments. Built by Bgaming (Softswiss), this 5-reel video slot keeps things simple on the surface, then leans on its Free Spins Feature to deliver the swings most players chase. If you like slots where a single symbol can flip the pace of a session, Anubis is the one to watch.

Why Treasure of Anubis Feels Like a Classic “Bonus-First” Slot

The setup is familiar in a good way: 5 reels and 9 paylines, with 1 coin per line. That structure makes it easy to understand what’s happening on every spin - you’re not juggling a huge grid of ways to win, and you can focus on when the premium symbols show up.

Symbol-wise, the game sticks to an Egypt-inspired mix:

• Premium icons: Ankh, Anubis, Queen, Scarab, and Vase
• Low icons: A, K, Q, and J

The most important symbol is also the one that shapes the whole experience. Anubis acts as the scatter, and it’s the symbol that pushes you toward the Free Spins Feature.

The Nuts and Bolts: Bets, Coin Sizes, and What You’re Really Choosing

Betting is built around coin size selection rather than complicated toggles. Coin sizes range from $0.01 up to $14, which is a wide spread for different comfort zones. With 9 paylines and 1 coin per line, the math stays readable, and the maximum bet caps at $126.

That betting range matters because this is a slot where the “normal” spins are largely about positioning - you’re looking for enough traction from the premium symbols to keep momentum, while giving yourself enough spins for the bonus to show up.

The Main Event: Free Spins (Up to 33) and Why They Matter

Treasure of Anubis keeps its feature set focused, and that’s not a bad thing. The headline is the Free Spins Feature, offering up to 33 free spins.

In practical terms, that does two things for gameplay:

1. It creates a clear goal while spinning - you’re constantly tracking the Anubis scatter’s presence.
2. It concentrates the session’s biggest “maybe this turns around” moments into one feature, instead of spreading attention across several smaller side bonuses.

If you enjoy slots that build anticipation as scatters start showing more often, this one is aimed right at that feeling.

Smart Play Tips That Actually Fit This Game

A slot with 9 paylines and fixed coins per line plays differently than a mega-ways title, so it’s worth adjusting expectations and bankroll habits.

Start at a coin size you can repeat comfortably. Since the paylines are fixed, your coin size choice is your main lever. If you’re sampling the game for the first time, smaller coin sizes let you stay in the spin cycle longer and see how frequently the bonus appears during your session.

Move up only when you’re ready for shorter, higher-pressure runs. Jumping coin sizes can push the total bet up quickly (especially near the top end of the $14 coin size list), and this game’s entertainment value is tightly tied to giving yourself enough spins to realistically bump into free spins.

Treat the bonus as a swing factor, not a schedule. Chasing free spins by increasing bets late in a session can get expensive fast. A steadier bet level usually does a better job of keeping the gameplay fun, especially in a scatter-driven slot where timing is never guaranteed.

If you’re playing with real money, set a stop point before you start. Decide on a session budget and stick to it, and take breaks if you catch yourself raising bets out of frustration. The best sessions come from staying in control, not “getting even.”

A Quick Wrap-Up Before You Spin

Treasure of Anubis is a clean, theme-forward Egypt slot with a straightforward 5-reel, 9-payline layout and a clear centerpiece: Anubis scatters that open the door to up to 33 free spins. It’s a good pick for players who’d rather hunt for one meaningful feature than bounce between a dozen mini mechanics. Keep your coin size at a level you can sustain, give the scatters time to do their thing, and see if Anubis decides to pay a visit.
